What is 360º feedback?

How is it done?

What's the result?

To take part in a 360° feedback project (sometimes called 360º appraisal) you would invite a number of colleagues to give feedback on you. Normally you would invite: your manager, peers within your organisation, members of your team and others, such as customers or external partners.

Each of these people would be requested to fill out a questionnaire - you would also be asked to fill out a self-assessment.

Feedback is collected using our secure website. Participants are given instructions (and reminders, if necessary) via email.

We handle the whole process, keeping administration in your organisation to an absolute minumum. We also tailor the solution so that it uses your organisation's own competence framework and corporate identity.

For participants without Internet access there is an option to use good, old-fashioned paper!

The results of the questionnaires are summarised and presented to you in the form of a confidential report.

This shows graphically the performance scores achieved in each skill area as well as free-text comments made by the respondents. To further aid interpretation, the report shows the degree of importance which the respondents have attributed to each skill area. The report can also highlight things which are done well and possible areas for development.

The report would then be used as a basis for discussions with a coach, mentor or manager.
